There are many kinds of stoves on the market. The common ones are natural gas and gas. What are the differences between natural gas stoves and gas stoves?
1. First, we must understand the difference between natural gas and gas. Natural gas is generally dry gas. The composition is mainly methane. It is basically free of impurities, with high calorific value, slow flame propagation speed and high conveying pressure. Gas is a mixture of various gases, containing moisture, oil and dust, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and other impurities, and the delivery pressure is low. Natural gas has been widely used as an efficient, clean and high quality fuel. The calorific value of natural gas is about 2.3 times that of artificial gas. Its main component is methane, the content is as high as 90% or more, and the rest is ethane. Natural gas, like artificial gas, is flammable and explosive. It must be oxygen-supported during combustion. At the same time, it will produce a large amount of carbon dioxide gas. If it stays in a confined space where gas is used for a long time, it will cause people to suffocate and die. When the gas content in the air exceeds 5%, a flash explosion may occur in the event of an open flame. Usually, the pressure of the gas is large, the gas nozzle has a small pore size, and the natural gas pressure is small and the pore diameter is large, so they cannot be mixed. In addition, when designing the cooker, it is usually concerned with the amount of oxygen (20.9%) in the air, that is, the mixing ratio. The liquefied petroleum gas requires more air, and the other two are less.
2. The working principle and shape of the natural gas stove and the gas stove are similar. The difference is that the holes of the gas nozzle are different. We all know that the main reason is that the combustion heat value of natural gas and gas is different, and the pressure is different. Everyone has to choose according to the needs of their own home. The pressure of natural gas is 2,800 Pa and the pressure of pipeline gas is 2,000 Pa. The pipeline gas stove can be changed to a natural gas stove. This process requires changing the nozzle and the fire cover of the cooker. Everything else is solved by the gas company. The difference between a natural gas stove and a gas stove is not dangerous once it has been changed, but it is very dangerous if you use a pipe gas stove that has not been changed to burn natural gas.
3. From the characteristics of combustion, natural gas and gas are not interchangeable. Therefore, when the gas is converted to natural gas, the original gas cooker, appliance, meter, and distribution pipe network must be replaced or modified. The artificial gas burning appliance should be modified or renewed into a natural gas burning appliance, and the household cooking appliance is converted into a natural gas cooking appliance by replacing the nozzle and the fire hole cover. The domestic water heater is converted into a natural gas water heater by replacing the nozzle (main fire, long open flame, etc.) burner.
